Chandos Deck Surgeons ("we", "us") provides deck and dock restoration services in the Kawartha Highlands / Bancroft region of Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we handle it, in keeping with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Quote requests. When you submit the quote form we collect your name, email address, and — if you choose to provide them — your phone number, property location, and details about your project. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry, prepare a quote, and arrange a site visit.

Site analytics. We record basic, anonymous visit information: the page viewed, the referring website, your browser type, and the time of the visit. We do not record your name, precise location, or IP address in our analytics. We also use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies or track you across websites.

Cookies. This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookies we set are session cookies used to secure the site owner's private login areas — they are never set for regular visitors.

Quote request details are delivered to us by email and stored in a private, access-controlled spreadsheet so we can follow up with you. We use Google (Gmail and Google Sheets) and Vercel as service providers to operate this website; your information may be processed on their servers, which may be located outside Canada.

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where required by law.

We keep quote request information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain records of our work, after which it is deleted.

You may ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Just email us at Chandos@DeckSurgeons.com and we will respond promptly.
